What are cookies?

What we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep the site working. You can't opt out of them — if you block them, parts of the site won't function.

• babaru_session — tracks your checkout session. Expires when you close your browser.
• babaru_csrf — security token to prevent cross-site request forgery on forms. Session.

Functional cookies

These remember small preferences to make your next visit smoother.

• babaru_email (localStorage) — remembers the email you used at checkout, so we can pre-fill it next time. Cleared when you clear browser storage.
• babaru_pops (localStorage) — counts bubble pops on the splash page. Harmless trivia.

Analytics

We use one privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand which pages people read and where the site is broken.

• The analytics tool sets a cookie or local storage entry to identify unique visitors without any personal data. We do not share this data with anyone.

What we don't use

• No Google Analytics
• No Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
• No advertising cookies
• No third-party trackers from social platforms

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers accept cookies by default; here's how to change that:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
• Safari: Settings → Privacy
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break checkout. Blocking functional and analytics cookies is fine; you'll just lose the email pre-fill convenience.
