Babaru is built to last. We back it up.
Every Babaru is covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We'll repair or replace anything that breaks under normal use.
What's covered
For 2 years from the date you receive your Babaru, we'll repair or replace, at no cost to you, any unit that fails due to:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Electronic component failure under normal use
- Battery defects (the battery itself is also covered for 2 years)
- Seams that come apart, fur that sheds excessively, or stuffing that migrates unevenly
What's not covered
- Accidental damage (drops, spills, the dog)
- Water damage from submersion (Babaru is splash-resistant, not waterproof)
- Cosmetic wear from normal use
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Loss or theft (though we will help you de-pair a lost unit so it can't be used)
How to make a claim
- Email support@babaru.co with your order number and a description of the issue. A photo or short video helps a lot.
- We'll reply within one business day with next steps.
- If a return is needed, we'll send a prepaid shipping label.
- Once we receive your Babaru, we'll repair or replace within 5 business days and ship the unit back to you at no cost.
Replaceable parts
We sell replacement batteries, USB-C cables, and (eventually) outer covers in the store, in case you want to refresh or fix something yourself. These are sold at cost.
Out-of-warranty repairs
If something breaks after 2 years, we still want to help. Email us a description and we'll quote a flat repair fee — usually $30–$60 depending on the issue, including return shipping.
Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and does not affect any statutory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence (e.g. EU consumer protection law, UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, Australian Consumer Law).
